Cyber Security Incident – October 14, 2025
On October 14, 2025 at approximately 6:35 pm Windsor International Airport (YQG) experienced a third party gaining unauthorized access to our flight information display screens and public address system displaying unauthorized images and announcements. Our team responded quickly by removing the unauthorized content and our systems returned to normal shortly thereafter. The incident was limited to a cloud-based software provider. There was little disruption to the Airport as no flights were scheduled during this time. Authorities, including the RCMP and Transport Canada were notified and YQG continues to work with authorities during their ongoing investigation.
